Honor Our Fallen Heros This Weekend

Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember all of those individuals who have given the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we live today.

You can help remember their sacrifice by helping several service, heritage, historical, and patriotic organizations place U.S. Flags at local cemeteries to honor veterans for Memorial Day. Some of the groups are listed below and the community is invited to help.

Monday, May 29, 8:30am

College Station Cemetery, 2530 Texas Avenue South, College Station

The flags are given by the National Sojourners. Community groups will place 887 flags. Ellen Horner, assisted by Rose Smith and  Bob & Jane Cohen, coordinates the flag memorial placements and maintains the list of veterans to honor
